I have worked in the Men’s fashion industry for over a decade in the capacity of menswear design and have worked with clothing brands such as Henri Lloyd, Timberland, Turnbull & Asser, which inherently involve styling. Whether it was through store merchandising, VIP clients or celebrities such as Simon Pegg, Daniel Radcliffe, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith and Luke Evans. I have also collaborated with magazines like GQ, Esquire, Vogue and The Rake to name a few.
Throughout my career as a designer, I understood the fundamentals of each garment that would dictate how clothing is worn in its original intention. I have always helped individuals look better from all walks of life like teachers, lawyers, doctors, psychologists, students, military officials, groom to be and many more. Listening to what they wanted to achieve, their concerns and offering a direct solution that they were able to apply in an instant. This is where I discovered my heartfelt fulfillment in helping people.
Speaking with individuals, I realised there was a need for a service to help men represent themselves and communicate confidence for their careers and lifestyle. This reminds me of what my Grandfather used to say “always dress well because you never know who you could meet”, and he followed this rule though he was a decorator - he was probably the best dressed one too! And I agree with him wholeheartedly cause let’s face it, whether socialising or at work, meeting that important contact can happen anywhere at any time.
My passion for style was also born out of the need to be taken seriously and to raise my self-esteem. Through transforming my wardrobe from a mismatch of casuals to an easy-to-wear timeless range, I was able to furthermore advise men on how to create a wardrobe that suits them and uniquely channels their personalities. I believe style is a way of expressing who you are without words and conveying a positive presence. And I would like to be a part of your journey with achieving the outcome you desire.
